The Laos Children's Workshop is a private initiative that provides classrooms, computer equipment and cameras to young students from the local orphanage school. Students study "Free of charge" in their free time and learn basic computer skills, photography, graphic design and videography.

Students attend one compulsory lesson each week and must complete a given project once per month. They are taught self discipline and life skills and learn, through the use of the equipment and cameras, to take responsibility for the equipment.

Regular projects are assigned to test individual skills and to build self confidence.
